Who is Gideon Kreunz?
Ever since learning that my great-great grandfather John Green was indeed John or some variation of it, Kreunz, I have had a burning desire to also be known by my ancestor's original name. Why Gideon? I identify with Gideon of the Bible and Gideon of the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. They were both strong spirited in the gospel and strong physically. I am, even though in a wheelchair, physically strong. I do however have room to grow in the spiritual aspect. I am in hopes of being spiritual renewed by surrounding myself with those things that I can see and self visualize with. I have seven (7) wonderful children; Tracee-36, Genevieve-34, Stacie-33, Joan-31, Kathleen-29, Joshua-27, and Emily-25. Along with them I also have 9 grandchildren; Donovan, Gryffin, Balthazar, Edith, Maira, Arami, Riley, Amira, Gavin. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). The gospel keeps me centered and I can truly say that I am defined by the church. The churches threefold mission are: Perfect the Saints, teach the gospel, and redeem the dead. My goal is to live today so to be ready to meet God tomorrow.
